Our Mission
AIM Space has the mission to be at the forefront of the evolution of the human species on Earth and beyond our planet through its people, its technology and its portfolio of services.
Our History
AIM Space was started by Rares Bisag and Adrian Dumitrescu in 2021 based on the success of Romanian Space Initiative (ROSPIN), the largest space education NGO in Romania they helped found in 2020. Alina Vizireanu joined their efforts in 2022 bringing in both experience and a valuable network of professionals that can help AIM Space grow.
Accelerated Growth
In the summer of 2022 AIM Space was part of the SpaceHubs Network (https://spacehubs.network/ ), a space start-up mentorship programme meant to help our expansion. We also participated in the fall 2022 cohort of Founder Institute Eastern Europe (https://fi.co/), the world’s largest pre-seed accelerator.

Founder of ROSPIN, Project Manager with 3 years of experience in the Space and IT industries, SGAC National Point of Contact for Romania.
Alina Vizireanu (CCO & Co-Founder)
Founder of AVINTERRA & Starseeds 1:1 Coaching, Space Education programs developer, Geospatial and EO Professional with 15 years of experience.
Adrian Dumitrescu (CTO & Co-Founder)
Co-Founder of ROSPIN, Final Year PhD Candidate in Spacecraft Engineering at the University of Southampton, UK.
